2017 CMSA Conference Austin Texas
Barbara Kuritz, Karen McMahon and Pat Agius from our chapter with Kathy Fraser, Executive Director of CMSA and Mary McLaughlin-Davis, President of CMSA
To Our Members:
I know you all join me in our support of our CMSA members in the Texas Gulf area, including our Executive Director Kathleen Fraser, and Lisa Morris in membership who are both past BOD members and current members of our Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter; our Communication Specialist Brianne Baird; and all of our Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter members current and past.
This disaster is unprecedented in its scope and breadth. Please sustain our Texas members affected by this tragedy in the way you best see fit; whether it be thoughts, prayers, kind emails or however you would like to support from your chapters.
Local stations are reporting there is a need for both nurses and social workers in the George R. Brown Convention Center for their onsite medical services. If it is safe and feasible, and you feel comfortable, please consider reaching out to see how you can assist in this time of need.
The needs in and around Houston are great and we hope everyone will consider donations to help this great city get back on its feet once the initial disaster is over. We have provided a few links below:
And, to our Texas Gulf Members:
We enjoyed your Texas hospitality this past June, at our annual conference in Austin, and experienced your passion and grit for case management and the improved life of our patients and clients. Please know we hold you close in our thoughts and prayers.
Our Best to You and Your Families,
|Mary McLaughlin Davis, DNP, ACNS-BC, NEA-BC, CCM
2016-2018 President, CMSA
